A few Lobi Stars Football Club players were harmed when their transport was gutted by fire the previous evening before Adaka Town on Naka Street, not many kilometers away to Makurdi, on their way once more from Ilorin Kwara State where the Club accomplished a 1-0 triumph from Kwara Joined in a NPFL 2019/2020 Match Day 22.

An announcement gave by the club's representative, Austin Tyowua said that the harmed players are getting clinical consideration.

"The administration urged the players to return the occurrence behind them and wear a restored concentration to their desire of winning the group" said Tyowua.

Then, a video posted on Facebook by Emmanuel Okwuluora Okoh Onyeka, shows Lobi striker, Musa Najare expressing gratitude toward God for sparing their lives.

"Take a gander at our vehicle, take a gander at Lobi Stars vehicle. God much obliged. Much obliged to you Jesus. My name is Musa Najare, see what is befalling us at this moment. This is our vehicle, this is Lobi Stars vehicle. Much thanks to you Jesus for sparing us," he said.
